She graduated from Roxboro High School in North Carolina in 1940, and from Louisburg College in 1941. She worked as a secretary, and those skills were quite useful throughout the years. She married Ray Frederick Perry in May, 1946, and followed him wherever Procter and Gamble assigned them throughout the years. Along the way they had five children, four daughters and one son. They retired in 1979, and lived happily ever after on the family farm on the banks of Mill Creek in Wayne County, WV, for 34 years. Lois and Ray were very active members of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Wayne, WV, from its inception in 1980. She was involved in many fundraising activities and helped prepare refreshments for the Nativity social get-togethers. She welcomed new members and showed her continued support through her cards. She served as a godparent for Baptism candidates and as a Confirmation sponsor as well. She loved being with her family, reading, crafts, music, and her God. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life service for Lois will be held at 1 p.m. on March 15, 2014, at Nativity of Our Lord Church in Wayne, WV.
